CAM beam started being produced by VE.CAM. in the mid 70s, Already in 1966 a first application, by Eng. Giuseppe Borneto with Patent no. 735007, for the realization of a plant for crushing the gravel near Genoa. It was a new way of building, revolutionary for its time, that with the use of a mixed system steel – concrete allowed for rapid and efficient executions.

These beams have found consensus both nationally and in the internationally also patents in the US and in Germany, obtained in 1976.
